The Transfer Clock is designed to collect as little personal information as practical. This policy explains what may be processed when you visit the site or submit a correction.
Theme preference
The light or dark theme you select is stored in your browser’s local storage under the key transfer-clock-theme. It remains on your device and is used only to remember the site appearance. The site does not receive this value.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Netlify. Like most hosting providers, Netlify may process technical request information such as IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs, and timestamps to deliver and secure the service. Netlify’s handling of that information is governed by its own privacy documentation.
Contact submissions
If you use the corrections form, the name, email address, and message you provide are submitted through Netlify Forms. That information is used only to review and respond to the submission, investigate a correction, and prevent abuse. Do not include sensitive personal information.
Advertising
The site may use Google AdSense to display a clearly labeled advertisement. If advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, limit, personalize, and measure advertising. Third parties may place or read cookies in your browser as a result of ad serving.
You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services on Google’s Business Data Responsibility page.
Where required, visitors will be shown a consent-management message before advertising technologies that require consent are used. Available choices can depend on the visitor’s location.
External links
The site links to leagues, football associations, FIFA, and other external services. Their sites have separate privacy practices, and The Transfer Clock is not responsible for their content or data processing.
Data retention and choices
Contact submissions are retained only as long as reasonably needed to address the message, maintain a correction record, or protect the service. You may request access to or deletion of information you submitted by using the contact form and identifying the original message.
You can remove the saved theme preference at any time by clearing this site’s storage in your browser. Browser controls can also be used to manage or block cookies, although doing so may affect advertising behavior.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the site’s features, hosting, or advertising arrangements change. The revision date at the top identifies the current version.
